May 1 WWE NXT Results

Summary and results of the May 1 episode of WWE NXT, including the debut of KUSHIDA.

NXT is in a slack period right now. TakeOver: New York is already far behind us and the next event is still far away. We still take the opportunity to see the beginning of KUSHIDA in the yellow brand, it’s already not bad.

THEM AGAIN
Frankly, who can have the idea to put the Forgotten Sons in opener by saying that it is relevant? There’s something going on at Triple H right now. After last week’s events, the trio found themselves confronting Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch and Humberto Carrillo.

The Forgotten Sons beat Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch and Humberto Carrillo by falling with a double stomp.

A victory in a dead silence and it does not surprise anyone. When it does not want it does not, do not force.

In an absolutely unnatural staging, Shayna Baszler arrives with Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir at Full Sail University and is questioned about her assault on Kairi Sane and Io Shirai. She says she has no remorse but refuses to answer when Cathey Kelly reminds her that she was not able to beat Io Shirai.

In a video recorded at the Performance Center, we see Bianca Belair and Mia Yim arguing during a training. The two wrestlers will face each other next week, and that’s good.

UNITED STATES OF VELVETEEN
Dominik Dijakovic defeated Mansoor with Feast Your Eyes. But this is obviously not the most important game here.

Velveteen Dream has a few words he says red, white and blue, and we put them in song for Dijakovic in response to his comments last week where he talks about his family and their arrival in the US. The champion of North America makes us a little repetition of the American anthem to his glory before telling him that his dream is over.

Dijakovic observes, without a word. A rivalry begins, hoping that they have left aside that part of the gimmick imagined for Dijak a few weeks ago.

It’s not going well for the Undisputed Era. If they give the impression of being always united in the promo of this episode despite the accident between Adam Cole and Roderick Strong the last time, the group is cracking. When Adam Cole mentions Strong’s defeat last week by making a bad joke, the latter takes it badly and goes away, while O’Reilly and Fish explain to Cole that it was not necessarily funny before following him.
